Rodents rule

Caught out

Busy, busy, busy...

It's the last Feast of the year tomorrow. For the past month or so I've been helping out with the new Feast hub – Health and Wellbeing – that's making its debut at the West Norwood Health and Leisure Centre. Its fully booked, which is fantastic for a new market area.

The Retro hub that I look after is not at its usual venue but at Portico Gallery – our usual place, Rosebery's Auction House, needs its car park tomorrow for cars rather than a market.

All this Feast activity has built up to a great deal of stuff that needs to be done. I'm just over the peak of it now, thank goodness. It's been really fun chatting to new traders and building up the new hub, but it's time to let it do its thing tomorrow and hope that each of the five hubs attracts lots of visitors. The weather forecast has been a bit erratic, but if it's like today (maybe a bit warmer), that would be great, thank you, Mrs Weather.

There was frost on the ground all day today. Ice covered the Portico backyard where I was clearing the area for the stalls tomorrow. The gallery cat didn't seem to mind having cold paws.

The fire is on for the first time this winter and the tree is up. I've finally given in to Christmas.

Happy weekend!
