Edinburgh

A busy wee day. Up early but only to potter around making a wee duffle bag sort of thing although I'll consider it a prototype of a work in progress. There's much about it to like and not like. Mainly the closure and the strap. Mandy's claimed it anyway.

Visit from Greg and Anthony so that the boy could pick up his birthday present and we could share a birthday cake. Then off into Edinburgh for a fine meal at the Cellar Door - a nice wee place run by two pals of Mandy's.

A wee walk through the market at Princes Street and then to the train and home. Poured those two bairns into their beds. But not before having them in knots by drawing people - Santa, Mr Happy, Rusty - as Hitler.

A wee slump and something medicinal now, I think. Tomorrow's cycling is cancelled so there's a long lie to be had. Not too long though. Need to ride to Inverkeithing to get the abandoned car.
