Nutcracker

A terrible photo but a brilliant evening at Birmingham Royal ballet's extravagant, opulent production of the Nutcracker. Act One is sublime, and act two, well it's always short on plot and the psychology goes out of the window but what a moving spectacle. And such glorious reds.....the poppy theme was echoes in a variety of design elements......what it evening suggesting the dream/hallucination element?
