A Rainbow over My House

. . . . . And God said, "I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth" Genesis 9.13ff

This rainbow stayed still for about half an hour, hovering right over my house. You won't quite see the house, at the back of the ridge, but right in the middle. I know it's there though and I felt strangely comforted and encouraged by the rainbow's appearance, especially as it stayed there for so long. I was on the deck of my motel when I took the image.
