On A Dull Day...

... the view - from Rotary Park over the harbour mud flats towards Port Chalmers (left), Quarantine and Goat Islands (centre) and Aramoana(distant right) - is shrouded with misty rain cloud with a hint of the promise of some sun later in the day. Wanted a beam to break through the cloud barrier and light up a green field or the cranes on the wharf at Port Chalmers but did not happen for us.

We enjoyed our daily coffee watching the mist ebb and flow and the bird life carrying on as usual despite the blustery wind and the dampness of the day.
