snow

Travelling home after our night away and the mountains are beginning to be capped with snow. We have gales and snow forecast for later in this week.

When we got home I had one lot of ewes and their tup in the yard looking for food and shelter and when throwing them back out other ewes in the other fields gave me a baaa hoping for feed. They must be feeling the cold too. Will have to start feeding soon I think. Problem is once you start that's it for the rest of the winter. It has been so mild this year the grass is still growing up until now so I haven't had to worry about feeding.
