Sunday again

The weeks pass so quickly, and here we are at Sunday again.,
Carving the Sunday joint used to be a ceremonial occasion performed by the master of the house at the head of the dining table, and I think these old utensils would be familiar with that scenario. Normous carves in the kitchen, but he enjoys using the old tools inherited from our families. The very worn carving knife is at least 120 years old and somewhere we have a fork to match. Normous enjoys carving and learnt when we were first married from diagrams in The Oxo Book of Meat Cookery.
