Strictly The Queue

We took our places in the queue to see the Strictly quarter-final not long before 12 noon - as you can see there was still frost on the grass. Some people queued from 6am! We ended up being numbers 007 and oo8 on Standby! This meant we had time for a good lunch and a short lie-down before getting back for the second wait. We got in, and had a pretty good view, though as we were behind the cameras you won't see us on TV!

It was amazing to set foot on the Strictly set! The TV cannot do justice to the costumes or the lighting. Well worth all the waiting.
