Christmas Home

This is my Christmas home. It's huge, multi-story, on the beach, all of my family is there, and they all get along famously. The living room is two-story high, and the tree is enormous. It stands near the window so one can see the reflection of all the lights and the snow-covered quiet street beyond. We drink hot chocolate all day long, and goof off dawn till dusk. There is an enormous fire place (so Santa can fit easily) cheerfully lit, and huge, comfortable sofas with blankets and pillows to prop one's head while reading... There are books everywhere! Nobody cooks, yet the house is full of food; nobody cleans yet the dished magically get done, and the whole house is neat. Little bowls with home-baked cookies get perpetually refilled, and the scent of cinnamon hangs in the air. The lights are dimmed at nights, but there is plenty of standing lamps for the readers. Soft Christmas music does its thing, and there is not a TV in sight.
