A tree growing from a block of flats

Actually it was a big tree growing a bit further away. It was quite dark already at 4pm, but the sky was a pretty pink.

Today I walked downtown to listen to a lecture on eye surgery, jaiks! Nowadays I constantly need to wear glasses, which is so uncomfortable, but the alternative did not sound that inviting, either. The surgeon told us that they would replace the lenses in my eyes with artficial ones, that would work just like a camera lense focusing near and far pretty quickly.

But the whole idea of having some body parts replaced with bionic ones seemed scary - as did the price of the operation...
