The December Return.

A bit Baltic this morning. The odd snow flurry too. Once I had everything fed,thought I,d better tackle some paper work. Mrs Farmerboab was away out taking Little Miss Farmerboab to Little Miss Lippinfou's birthday cinema outing so took advantage of the peace and quiet to attempt to fill in the dreaded 'December Return'. This is a survey form from the Scottish Government that has to be completed on 1st December and 1st June every year. They want to know everything but your inside leg measurement !. How many hectares you farm,how many sheep/cattle/pigs/poultry you have and how much your rent is and what crops you have sown. Gave it my best shot,signed the form ,sealed the envelope,then discovered I'd forgotten15 lambs and 8 old ewes. Bugger.
One a brighter note,the new washing machine arrived so got it plumbed in and working before everyone got home.
Wasn't brave enough to put a tag on it saying MERRY CHRISTMAS though !
