Falcon and medieval handler.

Annual event in medieval Dunster, not far from Minehead, Somerset, is Dunster by Candlelight. This falconer had a female peregrine x lanner hybrid. I was there with Wellington Silver Band to play Christmassy music under the open-sided Yarn Market.

This year, there was not much candlelight but it was pretty nevertheless. Last year was much more atmospheric as the whole town lost its power. That made playing a little difficult - we had to play in the open using borrow light, next to the blacksmith whose rhythms made life a little tricky!
