The magpie saves the day

Today we went to the Lilarum Puppet Theatrein Vienna. We saw Haus Hopla und der Weihnachtsbaum, a delightful tale. The children, of all ages, were captivated as Hoppla, a rabbit, tried to find a Christmas tree.

He searched for miles and while he was away, the other animals decorated a tree for him in the forest. The mapgie, who looks more like a jay to me, carried the ornaments for the tree across the sky.

E is poorly today and fractious as a result. I hope she feels better tomorrow. It will be good if the rain stops too!!
