On the road to Kelowna
Longest drive of the hols - about 8 hours in total with a 90 minute stop. Drove to Kelowna via Rogers Pass, Revelstoke and Vernon. Stopped for lunch at Revelstoke which is a quaint little place still hanging on to some old buildings. The home of ski jumping in Canada we learnt. Kelowna is in the middle of a fertile fruit growing area of Canada with many wineries. We bought some strawberries to fortify us for the last bit if the journey which were delicious. Hottest day of hols and quite humid.
