Boiler woes

Our boiler packed up this morning on one of the coldest day of the year . Phoned British Gas and was initially told we'd need to wait until Sunday for someone to have a look - but they would phone me if they had a " cancellation " . This did not sound hopeful but fair play to them they phoned me at 5pm to say the engineer could visit ( I was in the Dutch Mill enjoying the warmth and our practice Xmas lunch) . Boiler was fixed by 6pm by a very pleasant and helpful chap .
