Mummy on a Mission

Drum

This was used a LOT today. Washed, dried, ironed and put away.

The image needs a bit of tweaking, but it did spark a can you tell what it is yet, with various household objects, with some photography friends online.

We've had another lady day, after getting in quite late last night. Michael McIntyre was very funny. We also had front row seats in the little theatre. It was an impromptu gig he arranged ( he actually lives 5 mins from us) to try out some new material before filming a Christmas Special for the BBC this Tuesday. I doubt in his stadium shows he walks on with a cup of tea!

Mr C needed some new glasses, so off we went out late morning to the opticians. It was like herding cats, trying to keep a 10 year old and a 3 year old from trying on every pair of spectacles the establishment had to offer, while not annoying the disapproving, patient staff. So after much debate, trying on and "no dad, you look like an old man" he selected two pairs, one of which will be sunglasses.

Then it was off to do the weekly food shop, a grim task at the best of times, but I made a picture shopping list for Little Miss E to tick off on the way round....while I sat and had a coffee! haha. Only to be called back to select the items i need for a little photograph idea I have. If it works it will be tomorrows Blip.

Mr C is away again for the week, so it was an early tea, before he packed and said his goodbyes. Little Miss E had great delight in packing some extra items for him...a Peppa Pig book, a teddy and a light up dolly!
