Just when I thought.....

....Nothing interesting was going to happen to me today....

I went out for a run tonight. Nothing unusual about that, since I run 6 days a week. However, as I ran down Sauchiehall Street, somebody tried to trip me up! The most surprising thing was, he was an older man (maybe 45 - 50) and he was talking to his mother at the time.

I did, of course, stop to take issue with him and he claimed 'I wasn't looking where I was going' and gestured towards my headphones.

He denied it as you would expect and was perhaps somewhat relieved his attempt to trip me had failed as I would not have been that happy if I had landed in a heap on the ground.

I thought I put it extremely politely by informing him he should think twice before doing that kind of thing as his block might well get knocked off.
