Basil Takes It Easy

Kind of a slow Sunday today. The rain cleared and the sun came out, and it got colder. Basil and I went into Loughborough to buy a Christmas tree at Homebase, and then drove to the Grand Union Canal for our daily walk.

There was a rather grand willow that still had leaves shining in the afternoon sun, a bike draped on the top of a narrow boat, and an empty beer can tossed in the weir, but the photo that takes top prize today is of Basil stretched out on Len's legs. Both the men taking it easy - I have been trying to polish my new photography website. Almost ready for public consumption.
