Round & round & round & round & round...

An enjoyable afternoon spent at the Olympic velodrome watching the World Championships. True professional athletes, no matter what the sport, are always good to watch and the speed that these cyclists go round the track is unbelievable. One race went on for 160 laps / 45 minutes - my attention span doesn't allow me to concentrate that long so me and the wee nephew played football top trumps... I won.

The atmosphere was great though - what an arena to have been in during the Olympic Games.

I did think about taking my BMX with my Kellogs cornflakes spokey dokeys but I forgot my padded cycling shorts so thought it best not too
