Winter walk at the edge of Dovedale

Stunning December Saturday out in the Peak District. This shot is taken looking across Ilam very close to Dovedale.

Must admit I prefer to be away from the maddening crowds of Dovedale, among countryside like this. Day finished off perfectly with a surprise meal with a group of friends in a small village pub. Cracking!
