Dusk
My scheduling went awry today. Since the Offspring both left home it's very rare for me to make a full Sunday lunch, but I thought it would be nice to do one today as Child One is still with us - unfortunately I had forgotten how long it takes (or I've lost the knack, or possibly both), and it was after 3pm before we sat down to eat. By the time we'd finished and I'd cleared up a bit, the sun was down and the light was fading fast, and no pics had been taken. It was either blip the contents of the dishwasher, or grab the camera and scoot off out in search of a shot - which is what I did.
This is the Parish Church of North & Middle Littleton, dedicated to St Nicholas. I like the fact that in this light there is a golden glow to the stone; in stronger light it's a rather unremarkable grey colour. I've put some more shots on Flickr.
