Mixed Up Weather

This is the only photo I took today which survived a drastic cull:-) Believe it or not, the others were even more boring! This shows how confused the weather was today, with sunshine in our garden and snow falling over the hills. We only got sleet, which was disappointing, but there's a nice topping of icing on the Grampians.

Finally managed to finish writing the Christmas cards and even had time to make some mincemeat for the next batch of mince pies. Yesterday's were made with shop bought stuff, albeit it the luxury version, but I got an excellent recipe from the friend we had dinner with the other night and it really is superb! So easy to make too, apart from a few skinned knuckles while grating the apple:-)
