Timothy Two

I saw Timothy again today and we had a good talk. It was spring when we chatted last and the weather was quite a bit warmer. Timothy One. I asked how he stays warm now that it's winter and Timothy quickly showed me about 5 layers of coats and flannel shirts.

Timothy sees a lot on his daily route collecting cans. He knows who to trust and who to avoid. He was pleased that I knew the names of some of the same street people he knows. "Most people are friendly," he said, "but some drink beer and wine to stay warm. I stay away from that." He was also pleased that I noticed his new walking stick with the face carved on it. "I bought it right here on Third Street," he said, pointing out the little shop a few blocks down. It was great to see his smile and spend some time with Timothy again today. Such a positive, gentle spirit.
