Blipmeet!

On the way home today from the Gulf Islands (that’s the Salish Sea /Straits of Georgia looking at mainland British Columbia) to a few seconds before our exit from the freeway in Seattle, we stopped midway, in Bellingham (that’s nearby Mt. Baker in the middle) to meet Connections and Pilipo!

We have made many trips back and forth through Bellingham and never been able to meet, so today we decided we could do it in the daylight and were delighted it worked out. Just as everyone else says, it’s like meeting an old friend that you know so much about… Our “quick stop for a cup of coffee” turned into more snacks and more conversation. Lots to talk about. (see connections' descriptive blip, with this familiar picture:-)) H and I have just spent a whole week not talking to or seeing another human …(we’re used to it ).….. so this was really great to see real people, their lovely home and that wonderful workshop of P’s and I even came home with some tasty coated nuts (and the recipes!!) -Today’s Special indeed!!~ Thank you, Connections and Pilipo!! We will meet again. (maybe Seattle next, and then the island......?)
