Late Afternoon

We woke early to a sky laced with warm colors. From the bedroom window we can see Morro Rock and the lights of the small community of Morro Bay.

At 10:00 we attended the worship celebration at the Morro Bay Presbyterian Church. I think of it as the happiest little church in this area. There isn't a person under 70 in the building and most are probably in their 80s and 90s and they are all so friendly and a few were just full of spunk.

The we made a couple stops to get a few items we missed the day before at the grocery store. Once we got home Mr. Fun cooked us a late breakfast. Later in the afternoon, we put the leashes on the pups, put them in the car, drove to the north-end pier beach to walk and walk.

We arrived back home in time to watch the sunset. Because we had a late breakfast, we had a salad and snacks for dinner.

I spent the evening hours wrapping Christmas gifts for Tristan, while Mr. Fun watched The Life of Pi on DVD.

And that's our Sunday.
