good morning beautiful diversity

Sometimes I wish I could read the curly signs, but after I gave up my sanskrit studies, I 've really become lazy with languages. One of the few things I can say in kannada, the language spoken here in the district of Karnataka is "good morning", "shubhodaya", which is similar to the hindi "subrabhat". For the rest of the conversations I have to stick to english, as many indians do, too, - according to rumours there are 23 official languages in India, and 1652 unofficial ones!!
