Chanonry
An early walk this morning as I'm off down to Ravenstone for the highlight of my year - Sophie, my beautiful grand-daughter, staring in her nativity play as the donkey.
The dogs have just caught sight of my suitcase and retired to their beds sulking! They will be fine, my husband will give them loads of fuss and cuddles, not such good walks but its not the weather for that anyway. Bud always does get very miserable and watches the door for me, but Poppy just spends most of the time on Tom's lap! I shall be back at the weekend.
Bud wore his new coat today as the wind is bitter at the point, he is getting used to it and it does keep him really warm and dry. Poppy is a ruffy, tuffty Highland Dog with no need of a coat. The rain and sleet just drops off her oily Labrador fur, she still goes in the sea for her dip regardless of the weather.
