Mono-Monday: Home

When I think of home, I always think of the park which is located just across the street from our house. This is an 11 acre private park which belongs to all the homeowners in our community of about 100 homes.

This is the park my children walked through every day to get to the elementary school. This is where they played basketball, football and tennis. It has several wonderful hills for sledding and this lovely pond. When we were looking for a home 30 years ago, this park sealed the deal.

lt had just started to snow as I walked over to take this photo. If you view it in LARGE, you can see the flakes. It was just a flurry, with no accumulation, but it certainly is an indication of how cold and overcast it is today.
