My Hi-Jacked Day

Day hi-jacked by a completely dead car this morning. Firstly I had to cancel all appointments. Hoping it was the battery, I removed the bonnet but could not find a battery. Consulting the manual reveals the battery is in the boot. Cannot open the boot because the battery is flat and the central locking does not work. Cannot open the rear doors either. My car is the smallest Audi you can get - an A2. Sliding through to the back of the car between the front seats was not easy as I am quite tall and not as agile as I once was. Eventually managed to connect battery charger and post myself back out of the car.

This picture is taken in a traffic jam in Tonbridge High St after the nice man in Halfords told me I did not need to waste my money on a new battery but needed to take the car for a long drive. He also advised not to drive the car for less than 20 mins in this cold weather .
