First Snow Of The Season

The wind was strong and very cold as I went out for a walk with The Mate and his dog. We were very glad to get back into the Land Rover and turn the heater on. That warmed us up while we waited for the kettle to boil. We drank tea while the hailstones pelted the roof. Cosy!

Around us the skies were very grey. but on the way back to the house the sun came out over the Caldbeck Fells and I saw the snow. Great!

The task for this afternoon was to clear all The Mother's possessions from the room at the care home she can no longer return to. Upsetting!
