Nobel Peace Centre, Oslo
A great place where one can learn about the men and women who have been the receipients of the Nobel peace prize and also about Alfred Nobel himself.

This picture shows that the snow which has afflicted Oslo for the last 3 months is now beginning to melt....and the temperature may now rise above 0.

I chose this to be my blip for today. Other options included Oslo city Hall (a modern brick building which is being reflected in the windows of the Peace Centre - in this picture) and the various Viglen statutes in the City Hall vicinity.

The Peace centre is a lovely little place...doesn't take long to go around it. Every country should probably have a peace centre. The picture of President Obama is just visible on the left hand side - the recipient of last year's Nobel Peace Prize.

Let's hope 2010 will bring peace to our much troubled world.
