Graft always wins

Confession time, I took this yesterday on my "poo sticks" jaunt with Squidge to the river at the Ees (with Angus locked away ill upstairs and the weather situation of late, we are really running short on "fun activities which tire out a toddler so I can have a lunchtime nap too"!?!)

I always struggle for a blip pic on a Monday! Does anyone else have that problem? Mondays and blips are not natural bedfellows I find.

I was in a foul mood this morning, I had a ton of work to do and was really behind. There was nothing for it but graft. By lunchtime I was starting to make progress. I do believe in graft. I think I will teach Squidge "graft always wins" as she grows up. Graft always seems to make me feel better and as of tonight, I am seeing some progress for this morning's efforts.

Angus now has flu on top of his other ailments and we are alternating between a freezing cold house with all the windows open (he feels hot) to a dry dessert (heating cranked right up when he feels cold again).

I am so tired right now. I have a work event in London on Wednesday and this is going to sound crazy but I'll be glad of the break!

Sorry for not catching up on all your blips lately. I am planning a binge read on the train later this week.
