Derwentwater

Beautiful day today. Woke to see snow on the high fells and after packing and tidying up the house we went for one of or favourite short walks starting at Mum's house - the views are always different. (This was taken from a similar spot 6 months ago).
Then we had to head home and came the scenic route over the hills which had more snow than The Lakes.
Time to unpack and put the washing on and then a headtorch run along the Tay, cold and slippery underfoot I places but good after being in the car.
Life returns to "normal" tomorrow.
