Snowballs

.. and snowflakes.

There's a snowy theme to our Christmas, including lots of pompomtastic snowball chrysanthemums around the place.

I don't think we're going to have a Christmas tree this year. We're not going to be at home very much and I can't really justify the expense or waste if we're not here to enjoy it. Oddly, it feels really liberating not to have one. The only person to object was Tom, but we've put him in charge of Fire and Lights and that's helped take his mind off it.

It was a good Monday today - helped enormously by going into work for a couple of hours yesterday and getting the most time-consuming and fiddly jobs off my desk. There are only eight school days to go before the end of term and there's still such a lot to do.
