And today's advent picture is a little ginger dog in his festive red and green bed.

Rocky's bed is actually a very fetching lime green, but the bottom of it is getting a bit thin, and I was wondering what I could do to make it cosier and more comfortable for him to lie on.

While I was having a bit of a clear out of the airing cupboard, I found the red Cozytoes that Arlo and Ida used to have in their pushchairs when it was cold. Just the job! Fur fabric lined, and quilted, it is warm and washable, and he loves it.

On another note, we found out today that a friend of ours has had a terrible accident, and is in hospital and likely to be there for quite a while. God Bless you Mands, here's hoping you make a full and perfect recovery.
