Poorly toe

A last minute blip of my damaged toe. Last night, Noo ran at me, and the next thing I remember is a searing pain in my big toe! It brought me to my knees and had both Noo and I in tears. I think he cried because I did - I couldn't see any injuries on him. It was a while before I could dare to look at my toe (I'm a mental nurse, not a real one!!!) Even now, I haven't inspected it, just covered it up with a plaster so I can pretend it isn't there!! Only it's so blummin painful :( The nail is snapped about 1/2 way down....the top half must've been torn away from the nail bed........I can't talk about it any more....!
