Burberry Blip

I was supposed to take a photo of all my siblings tonight when we met in Bewleys, but we got so wrapped up in conversations it went out of my head.

It was lovely to be together and reminisce on our youth and to discuss the different world that we live in now....and then marvel at how we had managed to survive those wreckless, carefree years.

We are all quite close in age, fitting snugly between my oldest brother who is to be 50 in July and my youngest brother who will be 40 in November. The business of the night was to decide where we would be celebrating both occasions out of our family recession proof 'fund'.

The pattern of our lives is very different now than when we used sit around the family tea table and argue, slag, laugh and bags our after tea chores. But tonight we went back there briefly and relived that time around a table, not with boiled egg and banana, but with Cappuccinos and Guinness.
