It's my party

Today is my birthday.

I have had one of the best days ever.

I woke and opened a little present from my family, very nice.

Dogs delivered to kennels then I visited a friend who wasn't able to come to my prom and it was nice to see her.

I ventured home for a little chill, clean out the parrot, shower and off to collect my teenage daughter from school so we can go get our hair done.

That's in the afternoon though so we have time for me to take some flowers for my mam, have a little chat then on for lunch with dad at the local pub.

Hair done and back home to bubbles and nibbles and await my guests.

my guests arrive to travel in the limo. a first for some of us, the 'norm' for those younger!

The limo was brill. I told one of my guests the ride was so smooth you couldn't feel the driver turn the last corner, I was informed he never actually turned he went straight on! no wonder you couldn't feel it!

We arrived at the venue, 3 bottles of champagne later. very nice. A throne awaited me. a big red throne only fit for myself of course. because you see the build up to this party has been all about me! I received my other guests from my throne and allowed them in if I saw fit! They all got in.

After speeches, a first dance with my husband to our wedding song, a buffet,
6 kateela's and a rendition of Bat out of Hell and the night went over far too quickly.

It was great to see everyone at my prom. I had a great night and I know there were some people I didn't see all night but I knew they were there and it meant the world to me.
