Abstract Palm

It's been a big day, knew there wasn't going to be much time for photography so took this closeup this morning looking down into one of Nicky's palms beside the pool. Surprisingly abstract considering I used my 24-105 F4 lens.

We went to the prizegiving for Cody, like walking down memory lane as he goes to the same College as Ian and I went to. There was also a farewell to one of the retiring teachers, my best friend through school who went onto become a maths teacher and has been at the school for many years. So that was kind of special too.

Then it was the drive home in the rain this afternoon, with Cody in tow, he has finished for the year so is down to spend a week or so with us.
