The lost boy

There's that instant in the park when you think, Where the...? You didn't quite realise your child has moved up to the next level of disappearing in an absolute flash, in the time it takes for you to help Reuben up the climbing wall.

It was Reuben who first noticed signing "Where's baby?" and called after him "Babia" and in that absolutely impossibly short instant, Callum had bolted across to the other side of the playground and hit an access road.

I think I'd now much rather us go to the playground where the boys are safely en-fenced. Watching two toddler boys is enough to fray anyone's nerves.

PS: Just to clarify, this was not when I was taking a pic as Reu's nurse had my camera on the side for most of the time whilst we got down to some serious play.
