Día de las Velitas

Today was the day of the candles here in Colombia. Its celebrated every 7th December, the day of the ´Immaculate Conception´ and feels like the start of the Christmas period. There were lots of activities - firework displays and in Bogota lots of people on the street and free theatre productions around the city. After around 7pm in the evening, people light candles and you can see candles glowing all over the street.
