Weather Bomb!
Best off indoors on a night like tonight.
Apparently we're getting a weather bomb which is a huge drop in air pressure over a short period.
And I tell you what, it's hosing it down just now!
Day off today :-)
First up was the boys' school nativity play in which they were both narrators.
We're really proud of them - they did a great job - well done boys!
Next it was Barney to the vets for his annual vaccinations.
It's actually 2 years ago today that we brought him home.
He's an ex-racer and although relatively not badly abused, he'd had his fair share of injuries along the way including a broken leg and an amputated tail which had been caught in a trap :-(
Anyway, we got him from GAL who do a great job.
I'm pretty sure the lady who we collected him from not only helped rescued greyhounds but was working shifts as a nurse in a hospice and also bringing up a family single-handed - very humbling and we're forever grateful.
As you can see he's settling in pretty well :-)
p.s. if you've ever tried to take photos of a school play from the 2nd row of the audience in an assembly hall you'll know exactly why the photo isn't of the boys today.
Less money on trams and more on school hall lighting would be good :-)
