Christmas lights And Sleeping Beauty.

Went to see the Sleeping Beauty pantomime at Blackpool's Grand Theatre. A splendid old theatre and as we went to the matinee performance choc full of kids from several different schools in the neighbourhood. The panto was fun with great special effects and lots of noise from the kids which made for a great atmosphere. We had to get a taxi home as the weather was atrocious and we were soaked just getting from the theatre to the taxi rank. The star of the show was Jennifer Ellison playing the wicked queen and the rest of the cast seemed made up of local radio celebs. Steve Royale played the jester and Nick Wilton the dame. Nick Wilton apparently had a minor role in Eastenders.
