Cardinal in the Rain

I spent the afternoon over at Mom's house, beginning the big pack-up-and-move- to-storage. It's going to be a lot more work than I had anticipated...at least it feels that way right now. One step at a time...cutting the proverbial elephant into bite-sized pieces.

I spotted this cardinal in the rain as I hauled stuff to the car. It was a bleary, rainy day, so he was a bright spot of color in an otherwise gray day.
