Mount Iron Mood
The weather today was DFO (Dull Flat and Orrible) This was a term coined many years ago by a friend in the camera club The Boss belonged to in Christchurch and the friend has since gone to the big photo lab in the sky but the term has lingered on. Grrreat terms do that.
When things are DFO The Boss often turns to mono and goes looking for patterns and this cloud formation over Mt Iron got the nod tonight as we went Mini Blatting…well not sure if it was even that, lets just settle for an outing…Right?
Anyway with all the comments from the week he also thought that a lot of you would enjoy knowing what it actually looks like. The walking track runs up the front to the left and then turns right to follow the contour and then descends steeply down the back. The folk that need to prove something often go up the back and down the front but The Boss prefers it the other way ‘Cos the track down the front has a lot of loose shingle and many have skidded and fallen coming down that way whereas the back is a newer and better formed path and he also has nothing to prove so does it this way ‘Cos it is easier.
