The 1950s.
T2 (Spanish 11 and 12 year-olds) are doing a project on the 1950s music. It was lovely having them ask for Chuck Berry, Bill Haley and Elvis. to be played while they worked. And their comments were even better : "this one's really cool!" (Rock around the Clock) "I prefer Jail house Rock" "What about Tutti Frutti? That one is the best!" " Noooo, wait till you hear Johnny B Goode!" And none of them had ever heard this music before!
Brilliant - they'd certainly done their homework!
