Water Course

Managed to get a walk between showers and went into the next valley which is mainly marshland, crossed by a number of waterways and some sporadic woodland. We always stop at this opening in case there's a kingfisher, but all was quiet today with just the trees dripping around us.

I liked the green glow over the water, partly caused by lichen on branches and some clumps of mistletoe, offset by those few remaining autumn leaves. Otherwise, it's pretty grey out there...
