Holidays are Coming...

Busy day today...what's new!!

I went to my folks and helped my Dad with delivering some Christmas cards to neighbours.

The train ride home was eventful. Probably the longest 13 minute trip of my life. The train was packed and I sat down at the back - the only seat I could see available. I wished I'd gone further down and stood. The seat in front of me was occupied by a guy who was out of his head on drugs, foaming at the mouth and alternately shouting, howling and making lewd remarks. He had the usual bulldog type pet which was barking aggressively at him and everyone else. The ticket collector was too scared to go and check anyone's tickets! The guy had apparently been on from the start of the journey, wreaking havoc. I don't know why the staff hadn't radio'd ahead for the transport police to meet them at one of the stations along the way and remove this idiot from the train!

I had encountered the guy once before, being arrested in a similar state in Tesco! I hope I never see him again!

Anyway when I got back into town I decided to go along to the St Marks retail park where the Coca Cola truck was appearing. The queues for official photos was horrendous. Rampant commercialism I know but I do like the trucks themselves so I took a few shots of my own!

On the way home I met my daughter on her way down with the three Grandsons to get in the official queue. I'd've gone with her if I hadn't been out all day!

Tomorrow I am going to get my hair trimmed and dyed then it's back to work after 5 days off. Like a little holiday!
