In a corridor of Guy's Hospital

Thomas Guy conferring over plans for a hospital to house " incurables and lunaticks". He made a fortune from the South Sea Bubble, slave trade etc, before it burst. He amassed enough money to fund the building of Guy's Hospital, where it stands today. But he was secretive in his philanthropy. He reminds me of Jonathan Swift, hiding his charity under a cloak of apparent meanness.
