New light..

crisis! We have been having a bit of bother with our new lights (which thanks to blip I can see were installed 17 days ago.) We noticed that one had become rather dim only to realise that two of the bulbs had supposedly popped..when we took the glass off this morning this is what we found!! We had the electrician in looking at other lights and when he put his hand up to check the good one the bulb fell out also!! This is not good news.. but he told us a trick to stop it happening again and we hope it works!! He had never seen it happen to three bulbs in one fitting before and I think I will contact the bulb maker to complain. Clearly they have used inferior glue to fix them to the metal part. In the meantime various other electical things are working tonight so we are delighted!
After the electrifying morning I headed into London to go to the Anselm Kiefer exhibition at the RA.. I am thrilled to have been able to see it. Thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition and it was lovely to see it with my daughter who is gripped by his work and was able to explain some of his thinking behind the works.
Hope to see the Imitiation Game tonight..
